ARLD to present at the 54th IEEE Photovoltaic Specialists Conference

ARLD will present a paper entitled An Anti-Soiling Coating for Solar Cover Glass
that is Abrasion Resistant & Anti-Reflective at the 54th IEEE Photovoltaic Specialists Conference in New Orleans on Monday, June 8th. The ground-up design of this new coating exceeds the performance and durability of all other anti-soiling coatings, owing to nanoscale filler reinforcements dispersed within an inherently hydrophobic matrix. This nanocomposite coating produces a hard, wear-resistant surface which is both anti-soiling and anti-reflective.  Moreover, the coating is low cost and readily scalable.  It can be easily integrated into conventional, large-volume coating lines or applied in the field to retrofit existing glass panes.
