New York City Economic Development Commission accepts ARL Designs into SBIR Impact NYC

NYCEDC has admitted ARL Designs into Cycle 2 of SBIR Impact NYC 2014.  This competitive one-on-one coaching program for healthcare technology ventures accepts only applicant companies based in New York City.  As a proud resident of the Staten Island borough of NYC, ARL Designs is honored to participate in the intensive workshops and coaching provided by the program.   The program guides companies in the submission of Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grants and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) grants to further their work in a healthcare related product. 

2014 Innovation Showcase for the Oil & Gas Industry

ARL Designs will be the first of seventeen innovative companies speaking at the 2014 Innovation Showcase.  ARL Designs was selected as one of the most compelling technology companies showcased on the Oil & Gas Innovation Center web site.  http://oilandgasinnovation.com/events/

The event will take place on Tuesday, April 22nd in The Woodlands TX, where it will be hosted by Anadarko Petroleum. After the presentation, ARL Designs will exhibit prototype materials allowing the invited attendees to examine the materials up close. 

PowerBridgeNY grant award

ARL Designs has been selected to receive commercialization assistance from the PowerBridgeNY Proof of Concept Center.

Funding is being provided to develop a durable polymer film that is both superhydrophobic (i.e. self-cleaning) and anti-reflective because it offers a reliable path to increase efficiency of solar panels.  This patent-pending technology is now in scale-up development.
